Private School Handbook is an advertorial package that local Dallas private schools can showcase their schools along with a written story on tips for parents with students in private school.
Illustration Study & Layout
With this direction, it was clear we wanted some hand-drawn illustrations, but to narrow it down we needed a style.
Starting off by using Procreate and researching different styles, we tested different brushes and shading.
Each private school is different, but each school has a basic list of school supplies which drove the main concept of the illustrations. Next applying a certain brush and shading style was sketching of different school supplies.
Final Cover Direction
After review with other stakeholders, we decided to remove the hands and upgrade the school supplies to present more open for each grade.
